About Me

Hello,

My name is Deanna Hall. I am currently the Idaho County Treasurer/Tax Collector and have been for the last year and a half. I am running for a 4 year term.

The Treasurer is responsible for keeping records for receipts and expenditures of County funds, including collection of property taxes, special assessments, forest protection, water districts, fire districts, school districts and yield tax on timber sales.

I collect pre-paid mobile home taxes on trailers that are sold or moved. This money is deposited into accounts for investment.

Acting as ex-officio tax collector, I compute and mail out tax notices and collect taxes on all real and personal property, as well as mobile homes in the county. The money is then allocated to the taxing districts and to the county for operating funds.

Public Administrator must make and initial determination of the absence of an heir or will, and take charge of the estates of any person who upon their death, reside within our county. The County Treasurer will be appointed Public Administrator by the court.

I have lived in Grangeville all of my life. I have been married to Floyd Hall for almost 40 years. We have 2 grown children and their families. We are very involved with our family and our grandchild's sport activities, as well as events in the community. We enjoy camping, fishing, BBQ's and boating.

Before working for Idaho County, I was a bookkeeper and in management at various businesses in the community. I have always enjoyed working with people in our community and doing my best to help them in any way.

Please vote Deanna Hall for Idaho County Treasurer May 20th, 2014!!

Thank you!
