I would highly recommend Deanna Hall for the
position of Idaho County Treasurer. I've known Deanna for most of my
life and she is a perfect candidate for this position. She is very
reputable with high moral and ethical standards and Deanna also enjoys
interaction with people. I know and have talked with people that she
has assisted in filing for the circuit breaker on their property taxes,
and it is very evident that she exceeds the requirements in this part of
her job. Deanna worked for many years at the Assessor's Office as well as a year and a half as the Idaho County Treasurer, and therefore, already knows the ins
and outs of property tax matters in Idaho County; which is a big part of
the income stream for the County. I believe that with her knowledge
and experience, Deanna would serve the people of Idaho County very well
in the position of Idaho County Treasurer. I would support her 110%. I strongly encourage you to vote for Deanna Hall, Idaho County Treasurer! Mike Mager
Having previously worked for 13 1/2 years in the Idaho County Assessor's Office as the Motor Vehicle and Property Clerk, I was responsible for licensing vehicles and title transfers. On the property side, my responsibilities included transferring and splitting of property according to the recorded deeds and taking applications for the State Circuit Breaker Program.
While working in the Assessor's Office, I was able to complete Appraisal Courses and Mapping Classes. This information has continued with me in the Treasurer's Office.
I have also been the Idaho County Central Republican Committee Treasurer since July 2012
My name is Deanna Hall. I am currently the Idaho County Treasurer/Tax Collector and have been for the last year and a half. I am running for a 4 year term.
The Treasurer is responsible for keeping records for receipts and expenditures of County funds, including collection of property taxes, special assessments, forest protection, water districts, fire districts, school districts and yield tax on timber sales. I collect pre-paid mobile home taxes on trailers that are sold or moved. This money is deposited into accounts for investment. Acting as ex-officio tax collector, I compute and mail out tax notices and collect taxes on all real and personal property, as well as mobile homes in the county. The money is then allocated to the taxing districts and to the county for operating funds. Public Administrator must make and initial determination of the absence of an heir or will, and take charge of the estates of any person who upon their death, reside within our county. The County Treasurer will be appointed Public Administrator by the court.
I have lived in Grangeville all of my life. I have been married to Floyd Hall for almost 40 years. We have 2 grown children and their families. We are very involved with our family and our grandchild's sport activities, as well as events in the community. We enjoy camping, fishing, BBQ's and boating.
Before working for Idaho County, I was a bookkeeper and in management at various businesses in the community. I have always enjoyed working with people in our community and doing my best to help them in any way.
Please vote Deanna Hall for Idaho County Treasurer May 20th, 2014!!
